In this foundational course, we improve school climate & culture by building classroom leadership tool kits to energize staff morale, reignite professional passion, & retain teachers. By shifting our language from what some call discipline and others call management to emphasizing leadership, classroom “disciplinarians” and “managers” reimage themselves as the leaders they were authentically designed to be. Teachers explore the proactive strategies for inspiring their students’ intrinsic motivation (rather than responding or reacting extrinsically). The best leaders bring out leadership skills in those they serve, so teachers will walk away with strategies for filling up their classrooms with learning-driven leaders.
